At the branch meeting by a series of motions when required, all passed, the branch decided to
Meeting at 1300 hours this Sunday at the ECMOT if a member of the ECMOT is available to discussed what needs to be done radio wise.
Donate the old pole from the 680 repeater site to the ISP provider, if he wants it, as a small return for his ongoing assistance
The repeater trustees are to investigate direct connection of IRLP to 680 rather than the existing connection via  coaxial cable leakage. This to be done when a spare repeater is available to replace the existing repeater and will also allow checking of the existing audio on 680. A direct connection will allow the best possible operation. When this is done it was accepted that the gifted radio can be returned to the original owner
The branch will relinquish the digi repeater license on 144.650MHz and apply for a new one on 144.575MHz.  Effectively change the digi repeater frequency to that what now appears to be used in most parts of the country for APRS
Will donate the grant received to continue the siting of the branch repeaters at Whakapunake to NZART wlho have signed the agreement with the site owner and now have to pay over $6000 as rental for all the sites for the year just ending before the rent for the next year is paid by the commercial sponsor
