2010-04-28 680 IRLP Works Fine From Gisborne, Others Unable To Call In

Problem is suspected to be some of the required ports not opened. Roger is to check with the service provider as it is believed some work has been recently been carried out on his system. Thanks to Roger the aerials from Whakapunake have been checked with an aerial tester. Both show a return loss about 16 db (bigger is better) at 690's transmit frequency. However they are tuned to 140 and 142 MHz about 20db return loss. Noise on the national system is believed to be originating on the system from north of Auckland. Believe action is under way to locate.
